We are in the middle of our eighth storm here in Cork. We are currently in the middle of red alert which means exactly this:

The issue of RED level severe weather warnings should be a comparatively rare event and implies that recipients take action to protect themselves and/or their properties; this could be by moving their families out of the danger zone temporarily; by staying indoors; or by other specific actions aimed at mitigating the effects of the weather conditions.

So in honour of the red alert here are some photos of home (and a little bit of garden) over the last few days…

Sometime soon I’ll get a chance to go outside and thrift my little heart out but for the moment it’s another cup of tea for me:)
